No idea what I'm doing....but that's usually how I like to roll....flying by the seat of my pants and making it up as I go along!Matthew St. Cyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07870183182967553900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4400483117854542409.post-58575330395373150442015-05-05T21:00:13.018-04:002015-05-05T21:00:13.018-04:00I think this movie, Bad Milo, and a few Henenlotte...I think this movie, Bad Milo, and a few Henenlotter movies are going to be a program schedule for a Dog Farm live event at some point. That would be a fantastic themed weekend!Brandon Earlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04428583919973903171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4400483117854542409.post-6779432925440033652015-05-05T19:51:44.280-04:002015-05-05T19:51:44.280-04:00HOLY HELL!!! I am ...HOLY HELL!!! HOW HAVE I MISSED THIS FILM?
I am going to have to check this out ASAP because this sounds right up my alley! Anytime you've got sentient mold creatures growing in someone's apartment, I'm there!

This premise sort of reminds me of a segment of an anthology flick from 1991 called With Friends Like These.... in which a dude has a mold monster growing in his fridge. It's kinda kooky but I thought it was fun!

Another great review!Matthew St. Cyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07870183182967553900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4400483117854542409.post-70834621723505648112015-03-14T21:10:21.627-04:002015-03-14T21:10:21.627-04:00Motivational Growth would make a fine double featu...Motivational Growth would make a fine double feature with Bad Milo, both of which would in turn feel pretty comfy alongside anything by Henenlotter. Practical FX beasties are too rare a commodity these days. The flick had a great commentary, too. I'm usually not all that interested in commentaries, but I had just enough lingering questions on this one to give it a listen. Combs was clearly tickled by the end result. I gather most of his voice work was recorded separately.

I watched this with the Dog Farm's new projector that I purchased primarily for live events, which was nice. I always enjoy watching movies on the big screen, but it's especially cool when it's something that likely won't be discovered by most of its audience that way. The ready availability of genre movies now is great, but it breaks my heart that so many genre movies would benefit from theater screenings and yet rarely get them anymore in any kind of meaningful fashion. It's often just extremely limited theatrical releases or festival screenings now. In other words, I'm glad I bought a projector. lol
Brandon Earlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04428583919973903171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4400483117854542409.post-47491920249262708752015-03-14T17:41:46.217-04:002015-03-14T17:41:46.217-04:00Great review, Brandon! ...And not just because the...Great review, Brandon! ...And not just because the movie co-stars the criminally underrated Jeffrey Combs as "sentient bathroom filth" (although I like that phrase). I need to check this out.

Another movie this reminds me of is Bad Milo. I rather enjoyed that one.Barry P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11251536316431708240noreply@blogger.com
